The House has been open as a museum since 1949 and today houses an unparalleled collection of letters, first editions and objects in a beautiful and inspiring setting. Every year since we have put on an open air production of one of Shakespeare’s plays, in Little Woodham and – in recent years – elsewhere across Southern England. Our aim is to enjoy ourselves, and to share some of that enjoyment with our audiences.

Assembled Moments is a female-led physical theatre company based in Lymington in the New Forest, with a focus on creating new work. Assembled Moments is led by writer/director Stacie Bates. Stacie Bates has a Masters in Theatre from the Guildford School of Acting and a PGDip in Classical Acting from The London Academy of Performing Arts. Stacie has written for Ink Festival, The National Flash Fiction Anthology and most recently wrote and directed the play Future First, an ecoplay co-created with local teenagers at Forest Arts. Assembled Moments’ work has kindly been supported by Hampshire Cultural Trust, Forest Arts Centre, New Forest Council, Culture in Common and the ACE.

Mindful art became my refuge after life changing brain surgery.  Now I’m passionate about sharing these techniques with others, utilising my 24 years teaching background to help adults and children experience the same benefits in a relaxed and accessible way.  All my techniques are abstract, so the focus is on the benefits of the process rather than the outcomes eg zendoodles, mandalas, watercolours.  My clients love the calm environment of the workshops and the well being benefits they feel before and after.  I currently deliver workshops, retreats and motivational talks to private clients, NHS employees, WI groups and schools.

We are a Community Interest Company producing creative wellbeing projects for young people, because we know that life can get messy. We raise funds to deliver specialist projects which support young people living with adverse childhood experiences, and to reduce social isolation for Parents/Carers supporting vulnerable young people.
