What is Culture Connects?
Culture Connects supports long-term planning for arts and culture across our region, helping to make connections and nurturing new ideas at a local level.
We take a collaborative approach that encourages knowledge sharing, showcases creative talent and makes it easier for cultural practitioners and artists across Hampshire and beyond to find each other and create. We support creatives to find opportunities for funding, training, jobs and spaces, enabling them to collaborate to find economies of scale so we can all continue to create meaningful, culturally focused projects for the communities where we live and work.

About Hampshire Cultural Trust
Hampshire Cultural Trust is an independent charity that approaches things differently. We work at scale, running visitor attractions, arts centres, art galleries and museums in the south of England, confidently crossing sector boundaries and upholding distinct local identities. We work for positive change in education, criminal justice and public health, and support placemaking and regeneration, advocating access to cultural experiences for everyone.
Since we started in 2014, we have grown our work in cultural development, partnering with local authorities and Arts Council England, and becoming a National Portfolio Organisation in 2023. Culture Connects was born out of this work.
Our 2030 strategy sets out our ambition to create a sustainable, long-term model for delivering culture in our region through collaboration.
