Buttercross Creative is a small Winchester creative studio that creates visual communication through craftsmanship in typography and graphic design to express heritage, luxury, arts and culture with clients in the South of England, such as Hampshire Cultural Trust, Winchester City Council, Visit Eastbourne, Fareham Borough Council and Railway Heritage Trust. Individually, we are freelance graphic designers with a reach into London, and between us, we have a client list including Sotheby’s, Arup Group, Clarks, Transport for London and Searcys.

We’re a video production company specializing in high-end content for brands that want to stand out. With over 7 years of experience, we craft bold, beautifully shot films that bring stories to life. We’re the Sustainable Conservation Trust (SCT) – a not-for-profit team of architects, artists, and placemakers reusing historic buildings through creative collaboration and technology. From forts and slaughterhouses to alleyways and pop-ups, we bring forgotten spaces back to life with community at the heart. Our base at the Old Pay Office in Historic Dockyard is a living lab for residencies, skills workshops, and test projects. We welcome creatives of all kinds to join us in reimagining heritage – as a platform, not a museum piece.
