About Us
Swan Samba is a Hampshire-based samba fusion drumming and movement band, proudly affiliated with Roynon Performing Arts since 2019.
Our core aim is to provide accessible, enjoyable drumming experiences while supporting community wellbeing, fitness, cultural connections and musical understanding.
Swan Samba have performed at events across the south including Wickham Festival, Winchester Hat Fair, Andover Carnival, Winchester Bonfire Procession and Eastleigh Mela as well as numerous appearances on TV and radio.
We deliver workshops across a range of schools, community organisations and corporate retreats and welcome all enquiries!

Our hub, for creativity, learning and cultural opportunities for the community and beyond, is based in Havant Town and home to a 145 seater studio theatre, museum collection, workshop spaces and art studio. The Villagers
- Gosport
The Villagers are based in Gosport in Hampshire, and began life in 1986 with a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Little Woodham (‘The 17th Century Village’). Every year since we have put on an open air production of one of Shakespeare’s plays, in Little Woodham and – in recent years – elsewhere across Southern England. Our aim is to enjoy ourselves, and to share some of that enjoyment with our audiences.
