Premier Dance Theatre, currently based in Southampton, works across the South and in London creating dance theatre pieces that are rooted in contemporary dance. With a focus on storytelling collaboration is essential to this work. Our processes draw on a variety of art making practices, inviting artists from across the UK’s vibrant art and performance scene to share their unique stories in creation and performance.
We are committed to fostering working environments that are collaborative, experimental, supportive, risk taking & innovative, while providing opportunities to those in the transition between training and professional life.
Founded in 2024 by Olivia Wallis Jackson.

Funk Format made history by launching Hampshire’s first-ever Hip-Hop dance festival and bringing original pioneers from New York to communities across the South Coast. Its innovative projects, inspiring sessions, and performances spark creativity, confidence, and self-belief through the power of dance. Led by officially qualified and experienced Street Dance teachers, Funk Format delivers high-quality dance education across the UK, Europe, and worldwide-setting the standard for authentic, impactful Street Dance teaching.

Big Noise Community Samba Band

Big Noise Community Samba band are a group of around 40 drummers based in Gosport who have performed at over 400 event around Hampshire and beyond since 2007. They specialise in performing the Samba Reggae genre which hails from Salvador in Bahia Brazil. They are available for static perfomances, festivals and workshops throughout the year.
