Misty Ceramics is owned by ceramic artist Karen Townsend, creating and selling unique pottery inspired by the coast. We offer workshops both at Hill Head and in surrounding community spaces. Our corporate workshops encourage team building through creativity, mainly using clay as a medium.

We are a Community Interest Company producing creative wellbeing projects for young people, because we know that life can get messy. This includes one-off projects, ongoing collaborations and commissions with arts, youth and health partners, mentoring for over 16s, and weekly dance and sensory play classes for under 5s and their grown-ups. We raise funds to deliver specialist projects which support young people living with adverse childhood experiences, and to reduce social isolation for Parents/Carers supporting vulnerable young people. We work collaboratively with other sectors so that work can continue to support young people through the arts after our projects have finished. We work across Dorset and Hampshire. Premier Dance Theatre, currently based in Southampton, works across the South and in London creating dance theatre pieces that are rooted in contemporary dance. With a focus on storytelling collaboration is essential to this work. Our processes draw on a variety of art making practices, inviting artists from across the UK’s vibrant art and performance scene to share their unique stories in creation and performance. We are committed to fostering working environments that are collaborative, experimental, supportive, risk taking & innovative, while providing opportunities to those in the transition between training and professional life. Founded in 2024 by Olivia Wallis Jackson.
