About Us
Treehouse Theatre, based in Bournemouth, creates interactive theatre and drama workshops that inspire people to surprise themselves with their own creativity. We want every audience to feel their experience was unique because they were part of it.
With 20yrs experience, we mainly work in Hampshire & Dorset with primary age children, families, and people of all ages with additional needs. We’re passionate about inclusivity, and love bringing the primary history curriculum to life through Play in a Days & Living History Workshops. Each year we write a new touring pantomime style show for schools, events, SEND settings and care organisations, with up to 30 audience members joining us onstage. We’re a pop up theatre, happy to perform in or out.

The Villagers are based in Gosport in Hampshire, and began life in 1986 with a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Little Woodham (‘The 17th Century Village’). Every year since we have put on an open air production of one of Shakespeare’s plays, in Little Woodham and – in recent years – elsewhere across Southern England. Our aim is to enjoy ourselves, and to share some of that enjoyment with our audiences.

From grassroots origins to international audiences, we produce high-quality dance projects, develop artistic careers and improve wellbeing for our participants. Our medium is the classical Indian dance of Odissi. Originating from the Bay of Bengal over two thousand years ago, Odissi deals with contemporary and classical themes that remain just as relevant in storytelling today. Its narratives are researched and presented to audiences as both movements and rasas, representing emotions of real life experiences such as love, devotion, anger and playfulness.
Our dancers and artists deliver renowned workshops and performances that bring Odissi to thousands of new audience members every year.
