Bringing Union Yard, Aldershot, to life

Culture Connects, as part of our ongoing work in Aldershot and Farnborough to connect local artists with spaces, invites proposals for a creative activation of public space to feature at Union Yard, Aldershot. The commissioned event will take place on one Saturday between January and mid March, 2026. Artists are invited to create events which ‘animate’ Union Yard-engaging the public through creativity, interaction, and play, and drawing public from the surrounding streets to participate through sound and visual interaction. Culture Connects is a cultural development body supporting people and organisations working in culture, heritage and the creative industries across Hampshire. We exist to help artists, creatives, makers and cultural leaders connect, collaborate and bring ideas to life.
