Gosport Creates is a community-directed, artist-run project supporting the creativity of women in Gosport, run and facilitated by local artist Lucy Mellors with Yasmin Stephens and Jemma Corbin. Formed in 2022, and powered primarily by Arts Council England grants (whenever we can get them), we currently run creative workshops for women in Gosport every Tuesday night (at St Faiths, Nimrod, Bridgemary Library and Gosport Baptist Church). We are always looking to connect with other local artists to bring new experiences to our participants, and to bring new participants into our friendly and courageous community of women. Our work is trauma-informed, with wellbeing at the heart, and always centred around joy, connection and expression.

Foxbridge is an acoustic duo with harmonies to pierce the soul. Honest, beautiful songs about the dusty rooms of life. Justin brings the experience of growing up in America with a hugely diverse musical background and Emily brings a touch of class and English refinement. Together they dive deep into the stories and characters of Foxbridge’s songs, combining two of the freshest and most spellbinding voices to bring them to life. Award winning, experienced live performers; Foxbridge has a distinctive sound that explores the worlds of folk-pop, Americana, and roots music. Proudly featured in Fatea’s Showcase Session Spring 2024:Skin highlighting “the best rising names across the acoustic spectrum”.

Portraying the lives of Anglo-Saxon folk from the 5th-7th Centuries AD, Herigeas Hundas are a seasoned re-enactment group who cover many aspects of ancient life. Come face to face with vicious warriors at our combat and archery demonstrations, or watch our skilled craftspeople recreate the beauty of the Anglo-Saxon age in comprehensive living history demonstrations as we bring the history of Hampshire to life.
