We are a Community Interest Company producing creative wellbeing projects for young people, because we know that life can get messy. This includes one-off projects, ongoing collaborations and commissions with arts, youth and health partners, mentoring for over 16s, and weekly dance and sensory play classes for under 5s and their grown-ups. We raise funds to deliver specialist projects which support young people living with adverse childhood experiences, and to reduce social isolation for Parents/Carers supporting vulnerable young people. We work collaboratively with other sectors so that work can continue to support young people through the arts after our projects have finished. We work across Dorset and Hampshire. We are creative producers. We are passionate about developing and producing world-class, boundary-pushing visual performance work in the Solent (where we are based), UK and globally. Our mission is to: Connect artists, programmers and communities across local and global borders and inspire cross-cultural exchange. Discover and develop new artistic talent on our doorstep and across the globe through a producing model that centres innovation, risk and careful collaboration. Produce world-class, boundary-pushing artworks, performances and creative projects for and with communities and audiences of all nationalities and ages everywhere.

At Blue Butterfly Studios, we offer a variety of different dance classes for children and adults. Our ethos is, and has always been, to let the students have fun! We can learn better in a fun, friendly and enjoyable environment and that’s what we aim to provide at our studios! We also offer students performance opportunities and the option of working towards IDTA Grades, Medals and Awards. The Blue Butterfly brand was formed by Amy Fern, the owner and Managing Director of Blue Butterfly Studios. We also offer 3 studios and office space for hire.
