Ben Ward is CEO of Wonderseekers, leading its mission to engage all children with science and empower them as active citizens. Under his leadership, the charity has grown by over 80% and launched a bold strategy, For People and Planet 2030, centring children’s voices, environmental action and accessibility. He oversaw the £1.2m redevelopment of Winchester Science Centre, uniting creative, academic and industry partners, and founding the Young Steering Group. With a background in education, events and inclusive theatre, Ben champions equitable, child-led science experiences that inspire happier, healthier and more sustainable futures.

Wonderseekers is a children's educational charity that uses science engagement to empower children to improve lives and protect and heal our planet. Its purpose is to raise children's aspirations and confidence when it comes to big topics such as climate change, as well as promoting diversity and inclusion, so that all children have the ambition and freedom to improve their own lives, the lives of others and ultimately all life on Earth. Set up in 1986, and renamed as Wonderseekers in 2022, the Charity has always focused on delivering hands-on science experiences for young children. Through fun, immersive and accessible experiences in schools, communities, online and at its science and discovery centre in Winchester.
