Funk Format is a leading Hip-Hop arts organisation specialising in Authentic Street Dance and Theatre. With 26 years of experience, it is the longest-running Hip-Hop dance specialist in the Solent region. Funk Format made history by launching Hampshire’s first-ever Hip-Hop dance festival and bringing original pioneers from New York to communities across the South Coast. Its innovative projects, inspiring sessions, and performances spark creativity, confidence, and self-belief through the power of dance. Led by officially qualified and experienced Street Dance teachers, Funk Format delivers high-quality dance education across the UK, Europe, and worldwide-setting the standard for authentic, impactful Street Dance teaching.

Hampshire Cultural Trust was established as an independent charity in 2014 to promote Hampshire as a county that offers outstanding cultural experiences to both its residents and visitors. We manage and support visitor attractions, museums, art galleries and arts centres across Hampshire that were previously operated by Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council.
We run a huge variety of workshops, classes, events and projects for both young and old, in schools and in communities, with particular emphasis on reaching people who are vulnerable or disadvantaged and would not normally be able to access arts and culture.

At Blue Butterfly Studios, we offer a variety of different dance classes for children and adults. Our ethos is, and has always been, to let the students have fun! We can learn better in a fun, friendly and enjoyable environment and that’s what we aim to provide at our studios! We also offer students performance opportunities and the option of working towards IDTA Grades, Medals and Awards.
The Blue Butterfly brand was formed by Amy Fern, the owner and Managing Director of Blue Butterfly Studios.
We also offer 3 studios and office space for hire.
