African Activities CIC offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of Black and African cultures through superb, creative artistic experiences. Our work disrupts preconceptions, creates community, drives excellence and breaks barriers. Rooted in pre-colonial traditions, our workshops include drumming, dance, storytelling, Adinkra, beadwork, and mask-making. Led by culturally grounded artists, we bring living heritage to life across schools, communities and festivals. Based in the New Forest, we are a leading Black-led organisation championing African arts across Hampshire and beyond.

Winnall Rock School – Making Music, Changing Lives. Founded in 2004, we are a charity based at Unit 12 in Winchester for young people of all abilities to access exciting music-making experiences. We have a strong focus on supporting mental health and personal wellbeing. Our main service is our regular free music workshops, support and challenges for 10-17 year olds from all backgrounds and abilities. We give places to anyone wanting to pursue their musical ambitions, although priority is given to those who find it difficult for financial, educational, social or emotional reasons to access commercial provision or need other support. We also run short-term projects and welcome partnerships to support access to local cultural opportunities.

We are creative producers. We are passionate about developing and producing world-class, boundary-pushing visual performance work in the Solent (where we are based), UK and globally. Our mission is to: Connect artists, programmers and communities across local and global borders and inspire cross-cultural exchange. Discover and develop new artistic talent on our doorstep and across the globe through a producing model that centres innovation, risk and careful collaboration. Produce world-class, boundary-pushing artworks, performances and creative projects for and with communities and audiences of all nationalities and ages everywhere.
