Swan Samba is a Hampshire-based samba fusion drumming and movement band, proudly affiliated with Roynon Performing Arts since 2019. Our core aim is to provide accessible, enjoyable drumming experiences while supporting community wellbeing, fitness, cultural connections and musical understanding. Swan Samba have performed at events across the south including Wickham Festival, Winchester Hat Fair, Andover Carnival, Winchester Bonfire Procession and Eastleigh Mela as well as numerous appearances on TV and radio. We deliver workshops across a range of schools, community organisations and corporate retreats and welcome all enquiries!

Roynon strive to make every learning experience meaningful and contribute towards the learning journey of a student. We have a dedicated, qualified and experienced teaching team and are also extremely proud to have built a bank of industry contacts who regularly come to our school. Our students are also given unique performance opportunities at local events, private functions and even a-list celebrity events. Meanwhile, our work in schools is ever-growing and includes a range of primary, secondary and private. Roynon Performing Arts also has a strong history of exam progression via the ISTD syllabus and a renowned reputation at dance festivals. No matter the age or ability, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re the Sustainable Conservation Trust (SCT) – a not-for-profit team of architects, artists, and placemakers reusing historic buildings through creative collaboration and technology. From forts and slaughterhouses to alleyways and pop-ups, we bring forgotten spaces back to life with community at the heart. Our base at the Old Pay Office in Historic Dockyard is a living lab for residencies, skills workshops, and test projects. We welcome creatives of all kinds to join us in reimagining heritage – as a platform, not a museum piece.
