We are a Community Interest Company producing creative wellbeing projects for young people, because we know that life can get messy. This includes one-off projects, ongoing collaborations and commissions with arts, youth and health partners, mentoring for over 16s, and weekly dance and sensory play classes for under 5s and their grown-ups. We raise funds to deliver specialist projects which support young people living with adverse childhood experiences, and to reduce social isolation for Parents/Carers supporting vulnerable young people. We work collaboratively with other sectors so that work can continue to support young people through the arts after our projects have finished. We work across Dorset and Hampshire. Artswork is a charity that empowers young people through creativity, so they can build a better future – for themselves and others. We run programmes and projects that pave the way for work in the creative, cultural and heritage sectors. We give young people the means to make an impact in their communities, amplify their voices and help them find creative solutions. We provide placements and pre-employment training that could unlock creative careers young people might never have imagined – and much more.
