I am an actor and theatre-maker with over twenty years experience in the industry. After training at Shakespeare and Company and more than a decade acting on film, television, theatre (and many many Shakespeare roles) I obtained my MFA at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating with Distinction. I am also the founder and Co-Artistic Director of Crowbait Club UK and US (an organisation dedicated to the development of new theatrical writing) and Co-Artistic Director of award-winning theatre company, Mary Rose Productions. Hello, I am a professional circus artist of 20 years, I have performed at venues such as: The Barbican, Stockholm Opera House, and Milan Fashion Week. However now tired, I am currently writing a book exploring the history and culture of fairgrounds, with a focus on celebrating the rich heritage of Hampshire’s Showmen and Romany Gypsies – to challenge negative stereotypes and promote greater understanding. I am interested in running workshops with the Travelling communities, both to honour their rich heritage and to engage those who wish to learn more about these vibrant cultures. I have skills in: Storytelling/giving talks on my heritage & circus Producing Circus and performing arts Costume making / Sewing Mentoring Education (non-formal)

I am a visual artist who works across a range of media, originally crochet and textile but more recently in sculpture, installation and performance. I have a sensory approach to connecting to materials, most of them domestic recycled waste. I am very interested in experimentation and cross collaborations with artists from other disciplines and also outside of the field of the arts. Across the years, my practice has delved into the visual and metaphorical links between neuroscience and crochet, the cracking and transformations of womanhood after the menopause and more recently the opening and reconnecting to nature.
