About Us
Chapel Arts Studios (CAS) is a socially engaged contemporary visual arts charity based in Andover, Hampshire. We are one of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisations (NPO). We believe that in a disconnected community with lack of access to cultural opportunities for all, we create a home of connections and possibilities through art. By being part of the cultural transformation of Andover and championing inclusion and creative potential in the wider region, we inspire our communities and nurture creatives, transforming lives. We are home to a network of associate artists, of all ages and career stages.

We are a Community Interest Company producing creative wellbeing projects for young people, because we know that life can get messy.
This includes one-off projects, ongoing collaborations and commissions with arts, youth and health partners, mentoring for over 16s, and weekly dance and sensory play classes for under 5s and their grown-ups.
We raise funds to deliver specialist projects which support young people living with adverse childhood experiences, and to reduce social isolation for Parents/Carers supporting vulnerable young people.
We work collaboratively with other sectors so that work can continue to support young people through the arts after our projects have finished.
We work across Dorset and Hampshire. Please get in touch!

The South Downs National Park has it all – rolling hills, glorious heathland, river valleys, ancient woodland, thriving villages and towns. We are the youngest National Park in England, and the most densely populated, spanning from Winchester in the west to Eastbourne in the east. This iconic landscape is managed in partnership for nature, beauty and heritage, for the benefit of people – communities and visitors alike. It has been a refuge and sanctuary, a working landscape and a recreational one, an inspiration for artists over centuries. We both seek to preserve the unique archaeological and historical legacies of past communities and support the creation of new responses to the landscape by contemporary artists, writer and makers.
