“One of the most vital arts organisations in Southern England” The Times. Anvil Arts is the largest performing arts organisation in Hampshire. We are an independent charitable trust that operates three fantastic cultural venues in Basingstoke, and presents a year-round programme of arts, entertainment and engagement in Basingstoke and community settings around the borough.

Winchester Print Fair is an annual event running in May. We support predominantly local artists (within Hampshire), joined by well-known printmakers from across the UK. We are looking to raise the profile of handmade creative arts and crafts, with all printmakers producing their prints by hand in their own studios or shared spaces. We also welcome suppliers and supporters of print to encourage those just starting their journey in print. We are now a two day event, with 25 stalls in the Nutshell in Kings Walk, Winchester.  

Winnall Rock School – Making Music, Changing Lives. Founded in 2004, we are a charity based at Unit 12 in Winchester for young people of all abilities to access exciting music-making experiences. We have a strong focus on supporting mental health and personal wellbeing. Our main service is our regular free music workshops, support and challenges for 10-17 year olds from all backgrounds and abilities. We give places to anyone wanting to pursue their musical ambitions, although priority is given to those who find it difficult for financial, educational, social or emotional reasons to access commercial provision or need other support. We also run short-term projects and welcome partnerships to support access to local cultural opportunities.
