Volunteer Shop Assistant / Front of House (weekend)

The Royal Green Jackets (Rifles) Museum needs you!

We seek a friendly team player to meet and greet visitors to the museum and to sell items in the museum gift shop.

The role will provide cover for the full time staff at weekends and Bank Holidays.

You will have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with staff, volunteers, visitors and veterans.

We will provide full training and support for the role and reimbursement of expenses.

The Royal Green Jacket (Rifles) Museum and shop is open to the public six days a week. There are 40,000 objects on display. The Museum also organises special events such as exhibition, lectures and Fun Days during children’s holidays. In addition to this the museum staff answer research enquires.
