Professional Dancer for R&D

We’re recruiting 3 women* performers for the first R&D of our new work ‘Moon-Stained’, exploring the many betrayals of womanhood, combining mythological characters with real women’s stories to create a new layer of modern folklore.

*When we refer to women, we embrace all individuals who identify as a woman and are inclusive of non-binary people who identify with expressions and experiences of being female.

Location: Mayflower Studios, Southampton

Premier Dance Theatre is a Southampton-based dance theatre company working across the UK and internationally, creating dance theatre pieces that are rooted in contemporary dance. With a focus on storytelling collaboration is essential to this work. Our processes draw on a variety of art making practices, inviting artists from across the UK’s vibrant art and performance scene to share their unique stories in creation and performance.
