Job Description

We are excited to recruit for an Operations Manager to support and manage the team at Breakout Youth including: line management (supervision, absence management, expenses, appraisals) of youth workers and administration Officer, taking the lead on Safeguarding, the management of our youth group delivery program and 121 support (including risk assessments, session plan programme and staffing), management and delivery of Breakout Youths’ Youth Board, planning and delivery of events (such as our annual Pride Prom, Pride events) and LGBTQ+ Awareness training delivery and accreditation across Hampshire and the IOW.

What is the salary?

£36625.25 Pro rata for 28 hours per week

About the company

Breakout supports LGBTQ+ young people (YP) age 11-25 in Hampshire & the IOW. Providing a holistic service to YP, our mission is to support this marginalised group and tackle the inequalities they face while improving YP’s emotional/mental wellbeing & engagement in their local communities. Through our LGBTQ+ Awareness training & session plans for youth groups we aim to reduce inequalities faced by LGBTQ+ YP through education, awareness raising and learning strategies around resilience.  We provide 7 weekly youth across Hampshire, 1:1 support, LGBTQ+ Awareness Training and support to parents. We aim to ensure the voice of the YP we support is at the heart of all that Breakout does.
