You Are Here Digital Commissions

We are pleased to provide an opportunity for an artist or collective to work with the community to design digital ‘you are here’ maps for new digital totems across the borough as set out below. A fee of up to £2000 inclusive is available. This should cover all associated costs, including: • Create 3 co-designed, illustrated location maps, to be displayed on the Digital Totems in the High Street, Stokes Bay & Lee-on-the-Solent. • Maps should be co-designed in workshops with the community who will be asked for ideas on;

Information that should be included on the maps includes: – Featured locations or key public buildings – Signposting to nearby places

The maps should foster pride in place through increased engagement and an attractive visual representation of the local area. · The workshops should enable residents to participate and contribute creatively in the areas where the totems are located: two in the town centre and one in Lee-on-the-Solent. · The final images created must be provided as JPEG format size 1080 x 1921 · Please include proof of Public Liability Insurance with your proposal.
