Job Description

We are looking for an artist-maker or artist collective to design and refurbish a space at the back of The Store in Blackfield, New Forest. The space will function as a pilot project to test if it will work as a Creative Hub for local residents to participate in creative activities, for fun and wellbeing, with an emphasis on recycling. Location: The Store (to be re-named Lucie’s Place), 153 Hampton Lane, Blackfield, SO45 1WE

What is the salary?

The commission fee for this project is £10,000. This is inclusive of all costs associated with design, artist fees, materials, fabrication, transport, accommodation, and installation. We are hoping that most materials might be entirely free if they are all re-cycled and the Waterside Food Project can help to source these materials.
