Job Description

The Director is responsible for the overall strategic direction, artistic vision and operational management of Chapel Arts Studios. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive and innovative individual who can drive the organisation forward while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for artists and the wider community.

You are both creative and a business-minded leader, who is collaborative, driven, inclusive and passionate about arts in the local community.

You are confident in all aspects of financial management, with an excellent track record in operational and people management.

Contract: Permanent, part-time 32 hours per week, 4 days with a flexible and hybrid approach.

What is the salary?

£50,000 per annum, pro-rated

Chapel Arts Studios is a socially-engaged, contemporary visual arts organisation, which exists to support and develop artists of all ages, to excel as a centre for contemporary visual arts and to deliver socially engaged arts programmes. Chapel Arts Studios is one of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisations (NPO), based in Andover, Hampshire.
