Working with us
The Folio organisations are diverse, and range from museums and galleries to music and theatre companies.
Folio exists to create new ways for people to experience and benefit from the arts, as well as to seek out and grasp opportunities only open through collaboration. Hampshire Cultural Trust sits as a key partner in Folio, run by New Forest District Council, and looks to support other Folio organisations and its connected freelance network.
Culture in Common
In 2019, Folio, along with New Forest District Council, the New Forest National Park Authority and Energise Me, applied to Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places fund to deliver Culture in Common.
“Creative People and Places is about more people taking the lead in choosing, creating and taking part in arts and culture experiences in the places where they live.”
Currently, New Forest District Council is working
with Culture in Common to produce a 10-year
cultural strategy, which will be published in 2025.
Hampshire Cultural Trust is the vice chair for the Cultural Development Board developing the strategy.
